Background

Chanua Health designs and manages projects that support individual wellbeing. Two of these projects are ‘Neuro Champions’ and ‘Hacking Health’.

‘Neuro Champions’ is an educational programme which provides young people with the knowledge and skills they need in order to become effective young leaders in mental health.

‘Hacking Health’ is a global network which fosters collaborative innovation by engaging key groups of stakeholders to create solutions to healthcare challenges.

It’s been great to have support from the LCR 4.0 team at Sensor City. They have been very receptive and open to helping us develop further.'

Approaching Sensor City

Chanua Health needed assistance to build commercial elements into their projects.

Getting involved with LCR4.0 at Sensor City would provide the expertise and business support needed to assist Chanua Health’s ongoing development.

Partner Support

The LCR 4.0 team generated a number of ideas and routes for Chanua Health to consider which were both affordable and practical to implement.

They created Chanua Health’s first physical product to complement their currently service led business.

A 3D printed brain was produced within Sensor City which could be used by students to learn about different parts of the brain in an interactive and engaging way.

Working into the future

Chanua Health are hoping to develop their 3D printed brain model further and plan to give more focus on hardware going forwards.

They are also considering transforming the 3D brain into a 3D virtual reality model.

Results

This work has opened up a new sector for Chanua Health and has given them the availability to develop into other areas.

Having a physical product allows the visualisation of concepts and provides a more hands on approach to their work.
