AMPS 2017 – IEEE International Workshop on Applied Measurements for Power Systems

Sensor City is delighted to be hosting the 8th edition of the IEEE International Workshop on Applied Measurements for Power Systems.

The workshop, which has moved outside of Germany for the first time, will take place in our newly opened global innovation hub across a three-day period.

Over 40 delegates are expected to attend, with many travelling across the world from countries including South Africa, China, Italy and Spain.

AMPS provides delegates with a unique forum for the discussion of measurement issues which are becoming increasingly important in modern electric power systems. The three day workshop will deal with all aspects related to measurement applications in new power systems and networks (Smart Grids) and has the main goal of encouraging discussion on these topics among experts coming from academia, industry and utilities.

Delegates will also be provided with a tour of our state of the art laboratories and workshops, which are some of the most sophisticated for sensor and IoT technology in the UK.
