Today, Sensor City welcomed Sir Robin Saxby to the building.
Sir Robin (founding CEO of ARM Holdings) is involved with many start up companies and is a great supporter and promoter of young entrepreneurs.
Accompanied by Christina Turner, Director of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Liverpool, Sir Robin was shown around the specialised technology development zone and integrated laboratory services, as well as the breakout areas and conference suite roof terrace.
Dr John Kenny, Head of Engineering at Sensor City, said: “It was a great honour and privilege to be able to discuss the work we are doing at Sensor City with Sir Robin. Having turned a start-up company into a global giant and being a constant advocate for innovation and entrepreneurialism, Sir Robin’s thoughts and advice are invaluable to all of us.”
