We are delighted to welcome Collectric UK to Sensor City, following their move into one of our office suites last month.

First established in 1980s by a group of students undertaking simple electrical repairs, Collectric has since developed into a thriving business which now manufactures small control panels for automation solutions, including water and energy control.

They also provide training in PLC ladder logic and process control, providing others with the confidence to engage with the top PLC brands which use this language.

Dave Hellier, Owner of Collectric UK said: “I had been looking for high tech office space for a while and first became aware of Sensor City by chance after driving past the building.

“However, intrigued by the attractive gold façade I was keen find out more and subsequently found out that Sensor City was the ideal place to run my business from.”

By taking up space within Sensor City, Collectric is now able to access the machinery and equipment within the laboratories, receive technical and business support, plus reap the benefits of being surrounded by likeminded SMEs.

Hellier added: “My business interests in sensors, robotics and automation matches well with the digital manufacturing and prototyping specialisms at Sensor City.

“I’m confident that the status of being located in such an innovative venue will provide Collectric UK with a strong platform to develop the business even further.”
