For the second year running, we will be taking part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.
Last year our staff, tenants and members baked and bought some delicious treats to help raise much needed funds for Macmillan, so please get involved again this year and pop in for a cuppa, cake and a chat!
If you’d like to get creative in the kitchen and bring in some sweet or savoury baked goods it would be very much appreciated. There will be prizes for the best bake-off entries so here here are some handy recipe ideas to elevate your cakes, sausage rolls, biscuits and much more.
We’ll also have a number of games and competitions throughout the coffee morning, so please invite all of your staff, customers and wider networks to to join in with our social event an aid of a great cause.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. People all over the UK will be hosting their own Coffee Mornings and ‘dough-nations’ on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone over £27 million was raised overall. One in two of us will face cancer, and the money you raise at our Coffee Morning will help us make sure no one has to face it alone.
