In conjunction with ‘Research Partnerships and Innovation‘ at the University of Liverpool, we have today revealed details of our Innovation Voucher Scheme.

Announced to a packed audience, comprising of academics, business owners, entrepreneurs and students, the initiative aims to support projects between University researchers and companies, focused around the development of sensor technologies and applications.

The scheme will provide funding of up to £10k for suitable new collaborative projects which are aligned to the Grand Challenges of the Government’s Industrial Strategy.

Companies based within our innovation hub, as well as those in the wider city region, are encouraged to work with academics at the University of Liverpool to address these current industry challenges. Suitable projects could include proof of concept work, prototyping, feasibility studies or pump priming activity.

Applications are now open, with the submission deadline being 4pm on Wednesday 11th September 2019.

Proposals for the grant funding must be submitted by the academic lead to: lisa.ahmed@liverpool.ac.uk

Projects will then be reviewed and funding will be allocated by a Review Panel comprising of University of Liverpool and Sensor City senior colleagues.

More information and the application form can be found here.
