Sensor City is a network hub for contacts within the SME and Industry 4.0 sensor and IoT communities, alongside a wider innovation support network including other University Enterprise Zones, the KTN network and other specialist innovation hubs.

Our collaborative approach enables industry and academic partners to translate novel and innovative sensor concepts into commercially viable solutions through rapid prototype development and laboratory testing facilities, and helps businesses capitalise on the growing digital revolution.

Our community is made up of a range of partners, members, resident customers, associates and staff. Sensor City itself is also a member of several professional organisations, in addition to being a delivery partner of a number of programmes.

Project Opportunities

We are working with Unilever to connect their R&D teams with the local student and academic researcher community, to engage in collaborative project opportunities.

Unilever have several upcoming R&D projects, involving sensors, data analysis, programming and robotics, which individual or groups of students and researchers, from a range of disciplines, are invited to participate in.

If applying for multiple projects, please let us know your
order of preference.
