The increasing convergence of digital, physical and biological assets – commonly known as Industry 4.0 or ‘the fourth industrial revolution’ – is creating unprecedented opportunities for UK manufacturing businesses and their supply chains to optimise productivity and competitiveness.

To help businesses within the Liverpool City Region unleash the transformational potential of Industry 4.0, a new business support programme ― LCR 4.0 ― is launching at the ACC Liverpool on Wednesday 30th November.

Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by the University of Liverpool (Virtual Engineering Centre), Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LCR LEP), Liverpool John Moores University, the Hartree Centre and Sensor City, LCR4.0 is a world-class business support programme that connects SMEs to expertise and knowledge that can help to increase productivity and de-risk innovation.

LCR4.0 officially launches at the ACC Liverpool on Wednesday 30th November, 3.30pm – 6pm.
