Whilst the Sensor City team have been providing support to our customers remotely for the past few months, we have also been working hard to implement the health and safety measures required in order for our innovation hub to reopen.

With that in mind, we are delighted to confirm that from Wednesday 1st July 2020, the Sensor City building will reopen (unless new advice from Government advises otherwise in the meantime).

It will be fantastic to see all our customers again and we look forward to sharing news of the innovative business adaptations and the operational resilience our community has shown, in the coming weeks.

We are also very pleased to be reopening with an expanded customer base and will share more details on this shortly.

As the situation with COVID-19 evolves, we would like to reassure you that Sensor City continues to hold the health and well-being of our customers, visitors and staff as our top priority.

A number of new measures and amended building practices have been put in place, with some key points to note below:

  • Opening hours: From 1st July, Sensor City will be open from 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • Arrivals: Contactless sign-in and sign-out will be in place
  • One way system: Directional signage will help us all to move around the building, whilst maintaining social distancing

Our innovation hub will be open from 1st July for all resident customers. However, our event spaces will remain closed for bookings throughout July and August. From Tuesday 1st September, our Conference Suite and other event spaces throughout the building will reopen and we look forward to hosting a diverse mix of events once again.

Our continued review of health and safety measures will ensure that Sensor City remains a safe and accessible place for all occupants.

Should you have any questions at all, please email Natalia Vaccaro: natalia.vaccaro@sensorcity.co.uk or call our reception desk on 0151 705 6000, who will then be able to transfer you to the relevant team member.

Thank you for your ongoing understanding.
