Sensor City took part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ today and raised £150 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A vast array of delicious tray bakes, biscuits and even 3D printed cupcakes were made by Sensor City staff, tenants and our wider community, which helped to create a wonderful spread of sweet treats.

Lotte Manson from LAND, an LJMU student start-up company providing barista style coffee from the back of a converted mini, was also on site and kindly donated 20p of every cup sold to our Macmillan collection.

We also had fun playing a selection of baking-related games and had a good catch-up with friends.

The coffee morning was part of Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer and the money we raised will help make sure no one has to face it alone.

If you were unable to join us this morning, but would still like to make a donation, you can do so here.

Big thanks must go to everyone who got involved, either through getting creative in the kitchen or donating raffle prizes, through to helping to promote the event and of course all those who generously donated to this worthy cause.
